Lords of the Housetops
Thirteen Cat Tales
par Carl Van Vechten
Lu par LibriVox Volunteers
In Lords of the Housetops, thirteen authors turn their attention to cats, gathering stories that explore the animal from a range of creative perspectives.
Rather than following one character or plot, this 1921 collection offers a series of distinct encounters with feline life and personality. Its variety makes it a natural choice for listeners who enjoy short fiction and stories about animals.
The collection’s changing voices and viewpoints give each piece room to stand on its own, while cats remain the thread connecting them.
