I had never read this, the author's first sequel to 'Five Little Peppers', before, and I loved it. The writing was a bit hurried in places, and I wish there was more about quiet Ben and Davie, but mostly I just enjoyed it. There were more 'action' points than I expected after reading the first book. The reader did a fair job, and I was too interested in the story for her stumbles to be really distracting. On to the original book 3, 'Five Little Peppers Grown Up'! 10/28/26
