Classic Crime With The Brits is a vintage radio drama series featuring the intriguing character of Dr. Morelle, a criminal psychologist who tackles murder cases that baffle the police. Portrayed by English film actor Cecil Parker, Dr. Morelle is often accompanied by his secretary, Miss Frayle, played by Sheila Sim. The series was inspired by a character conceived during an air raid in 1942.

Set in London at 221b Harley Street, the stories unfold with Dr. Morelle using his psychological insights rather than traditional detective work to solve mysteries. Each episode is self-contained, culminating in a final revelation of the murderer’s identity. The series aired on the BBC Light Programme in 1957, with thirteen episodes broadcast weekly from April 23rd to July 16th.
