This is a must listen for all those spiritually inclined. Maggie does a good job of oration;however, I have a few hang-ups. I wish there was a clear demarcation between the interpreters commentary and the actual text. I plan to listen to some other readings and I enjoyed this so much that I know eventually I’ll get a hard copy for study, as the terms and ideas explored here are incredibly complex and deep.
Fine Reading

This is an excellent solo reading of Charles Johnston’s interpretation of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, spoken clearly by Maggie Russell. Her emphases and phrasing are more staccato than legato, which for a text such as this, I find helpful to grasp subtle aspects of Johnston’s explorations and distinctions of the sutras’ vocabulary and logical system. Highly recommended.

for me easily the most clear concise and coherent structure available to allow one to interpret and understand universal lores to obliterate the boudaries of the archaic frame work we live and understand our existence by Om Namah Shivay Jai Shree Ram🙏🙏🙏
Worth it in many ways

Excellent presentation and narration. Some of the commentary needs correction, such as the implication that thought travels faster than the speed of light (it doesn't), but overall this is well well worth the listen.
wonderful reading!

I love these sutras! This has great commentary on each to make it more accessible and understandable. The reading is superb! Such a lovely reading voice, I hope she will do more.
