The Relations of Saint Teresa of Avila
Read by Ann Boulais
In Relations of Saint Teresa of Avila, Teresa records episodes from her inner life and her experiences in the world, extending the spiritual account begun in her autobiography.
Written in the form of letters, these brief accounts offer a more episodic view of Teresa’s religious life than a continuous memoir. They bring together personal reflection and reports of events, giving listeners a sense of how she understood and described her experiences.
This work may suit listeners interested in Christian spirituality, Teresa’s writings, or the letter form as a way of exploring a life of faith.

Text was excellent, but reader's cadence and changes in pitch were very distracting to me.

relatos (sp.) = memoirs, not relations. I hope that may clarify the possible confusion. Otherwise it sounds like perhaps a book of scandals
