Freedom’s Battle gathers Mahatma Gandhi’s writings and speeches from the struggle against British rule in India after the First World War. Together, they offer a direct account of how Gandhi understood the campaign for Indian freedom and the methods he urged its supporters to follow.

Rather than a single continuous narrative, the book presents political arguments and public appeals in Gandhi’s own words. Its focus is the movement’s aims and principles, including the role of nonviolent resistance in challenging colonial authority.

For listeners interested in the history and ideas behind India’s independence movement, this collection provides a period voice from one of its central leaders.
