Love it

I love H. Beam Piper. His stories generally have a good message, I would never say they are simple because he has created a complex world and characters, but he writes in a manner that makes it easy to listen tow hile multitasking. He is one of my favorite novella and scifi authors. I've enjoyed all of librivox's Piper recordings. They are done by various readers but each have been superb, and this is no different. Excellent reading!
great story

this is a great story with a good narrator. Piper has quickly become one of my favorite authors since discovering him and this is another great story by him. I should have guessed the twist since he drops so many clues throughout the story, but the story is so well written that piper kept me guessing at the answer until the very end.
Loved it!

Great short story, keeps you on the edge for the grand finale and I loved the twist at the end. 10/10 would recommend. Only complaint I have is that the reader has a very thick accent which made it a bit difficult to understand sometimes as a non-native speaker.
Now it makes sense! The Return...

I picked up on the references immediately, but still the twist caught me by surprise! I really enjoyed this story and will check out more H Beam Piper... I like the reader's style too.
Great fun!

This is an excellent example of the author's work. It kept me on the edge of the seat right up until the very last sentence. If you like science fiction you don't want to miss this story.
Great short story with a cool "twist".
Seven Archers
This story was entertaining, with a fun twist in the plot at the end. The reader did a great job. I recommended it.
Thumbs up!

I'm a big fan of the Little Fuzzy series (how it was written and characters developed). This was shorter but was just as enjoyable. Very nicely read also.
Terrible reading!

Book may be okay, but it's reading is terrible. It sounds like the recording was made inside some kind of an echo chamber...really hard to listen to.
