Not as good as the first book

For a while I was considering giving this two stars as I felt like the author reused plots, and that this volume lacked the charm of the first book. There was also noticeable racism, which of course reflect the society of the time, but was absent in the first book. However the final story lifted the rating for me and ended the book on a good note. Many thanks to the narrator for her terrific reading.

I really enjoyed these well narrated stories & adventures of these 3 woman lead by one of them Tish and she is the leader of the pack to say and is not always right on the mark with her take of the situation! Good fun listening!
love love love!

so funny! there is some racism but it is due to the antiquity of book. The narrator is fantastic! She really brought the three aunts to life. I am definitely looking up more by her.

Finely told vintage mystery romance. Well narrated (LibriVox). Recommended.
Snowed In Again
I eagerly listened to this book after having listened to "The Amazing Adventures of Letitia Barberry." The writing in this book reslky diesnt compare to TAA, which was tightly written and hugely witty. These stories certainly had their moments, the description of Tish's riding lesson had me choking with laughter, but for the most part they were just amusing. The racist comments another listener mentions are jarring "jokes" found in the first selection. The reader gets 5 stars, but if you really want a good laugh with Letitia, I recommend. TAA of Letitia Cranberry.
Hilarious

I've read and listened to this book over and over through the years. The narrator does a brilliant job bringing Tish and her cohorts to life. Wish there were a dozen more Tish books.
