you can't ask for more from an audio book than being captivated and time flying by. Very Good Reader, which is essential to me. If you like this try Vol 1 Of Crimes (?) which is very long and superbly read by Kevin Green
Interesting

This is a very unique style of writing as well as a unique story of HH Holmes. it took a while to get used to the narrator's voice, but once you get past that you get sucked into the story.
Entertaining and well read

I enjoyed these, although be aware they are quite graphic in their description of murder and mutilation. It would be great if the American readers could familiarise themselves with the pronunciation of British place names when reading texts about the country though! Well worth a listen if you like grizzly tales
Inaccurate Rubbish
null
Grossly inaccurate. Has very little connection with the know facts. The letters supposed to have been written by the Ripper as grossly missquoted. Don't believe that this rubbish using any way historically accurate.
more fiction than fact

The story is entertaining enough and a good example of the writing of the time, but fact and fiction are pretty well blended.
Good narration and Story
Mark Gordon
Excellent book. My grandfather knew all the stories. He was born in London in 1901, and they were still talking about it.
