great readers

(3,5 Sterne)

like all of these collections some of the stories here are great some less so.. Luella Miller is probably the best, I'm not sure if it's meant as a scary story or just the writer's (terrible) opinion on rich women of that time. Mujina is sort of story you used to tell your friends to scare them, fun! Nerves is a fun little piece from Chekhov. The picture in the house is real horror. Listen to There is a reaper because the ending gave me goosebumps, the Doom of the House of Dureya because the setting and lead up (having doubts in your own family) is quite intense. The readers were all fantastic!

Another winner!!

Like always in the volumes of this collection, you'll find a fantastic selection of stories by the original masters of macabre! They're short enough for every word to hold your interest, & written in such a way, that your imagination is given the room to fill in the blanks. A skill rarely found in our modern era. Those of you who notice the shadows - should definitely leave the lights on!!

Excellent
