Heroic poetry is certainly the most difficult of all literary genres. Noyes is not a household name, but this effort is well-done, ranking perhaps with Scott's Lady Of the Lake. Reading heroic poetry is also difficult, and Moyer gives a creditable job. I am sorry that another listener objected to the "clipped accent," because he missed a treat.
