Excellent old fashioned Horatio Alger book with a very fine reader

Very charming and interesting and attention-maintaining book in the quaint old fashioned style that I like, rather delightfully read by Abigail Rasmussen, who sounds remarkably similar to Alys Attewater who read Alger's most excellent *Ragged Dick* book.

Just finished listening to Cousin's Conspiracy, by Horatio Alger. The reader does a very nice job. This book strays from Alger's typical poor city boy makes good theme, and takes the orphaned teen out west for some great adventures with his friend, the "Quaker Detective". As in all Alger books, good wins out in the end. I think you'll enjoy this book, if you're a fan of the genre.
Another great book from Abigail Rasmussen
This book was predictable yet very entertaining and enjoyable. One of the only issues is that you never learn what happened to our Friend Luke at the very end! What a disappointment!!!

I enjoyed the story. It was simple but pleasant. The end was tied up a bit too neatly, but I expected that.
