Jules Verne
The story involves a German professor (Otto Lidenbrock in the original French, Professor Von Hardwigg in the most common English translation) who believes there are volcanic tubes going toward the center of the Earth. He, his nephew Axel (Harry), and their guide Hans encounter many adventures, including prehistoric animals and natural hazards, eventually coming to the surface again in southern Italy.

Lars Rolando your amazing your voice is smooth, clear, perfect
Amazing.
An amazing read by all participants, but I love the feeling that Lars Rolander's accent brings to this thrilling and educational tale. No hesitation, no question, no problem. Would dearly love to hear him do a full narration of this.

libravox again mixing up between different readers. making it hard to get stuck in and visualize due to different styles of reading. please take advice on board and stick to one volunteer reader per novel
I wish there was only one person reading.
Trucker
Absolutely love it. being a truck driver it helps on the long runs. I just wish they had the rest of the Tarzan series on here.

I have to read this book for school, I’ll say I was not too amused of that fact when I first started reading it, though now my opinions have changed. This is a great classic of literature for anyone who enjoys science and sci-fi novels; I highly would recommend you read it if you have never read any books published by Jules Verne.
Multiple readers killed it
The text was good (though the weakness of the narrator/main character was annoying). The reason for the lower rating though is completely due to having to endure multiple readers. Differing mic quality, pronunciations, speed, tone, etc. Every time there's a change in reader you are taken completely out of the story. Please Librivox, stop doing this.
