L. Frank Baum
Aunt Jane's Nieces at Millville is a 1908 young-adult novel written by L. Frank Baum, famous as the creator of the Land of Oz. It is the third volume in "the successful Aunt Jane Series," following Aunt Jane's Nieces and Aunt Jane's Nieces Abroad.
Aunt Jane's Nieces at Millville picks up the story of the three cousins, Patsy Doyle, Beth De Graf, and Louise Merrick, soon after their return from Europe in Aunt Jane's Nieces Abroad. As in that earlier book, their benign and eccentric millionaire Uncle John devotes much of his fortune to helping others — an effort managed by Patsy's father, Major Doyle. These efforts do not always yield fiscally sound results... (Summary by Wikipedia) (5 hr 11 min)

Great book

And very well read for the most part. I had forgotten how funny these books were! There is one chapter that's barely understandable, read by a man who's mike must have a problem. The man who starts the story (Bice) could gladly have read the whole book for my part!
Awful chapter 13

I would have preferred one person reading the whole book but chapter 13 was truly terrible and needs to be replaced by another person. The book is one in a series and an easy thing to listen to.
unexpected

Being third in the series I expected less I guess but Millville had a really nice twist to the book and I felt it was pleasantly unexpected. I want to hear book four now:)
Entertainingly funny..
This is better than the previous one in the series. Got a good laugh more. Peggy is a character that one would rather find amusing despite how roguish he seem.
excellent reading except for a single chapter with rather unpleasant audio quality the story itself was enjoyable but definitely not my favourite of Baum

Love this story! I’ve listened to it several times before and still find it charming and some parts are quite hilarious!!!

Love these books. Only one reader I couldn’t understand and it also echoed. Otherwise it was all good!

not my favorite, I like when the girls and Peggy McNutt robbed the watermelon patch though.
