Athelstan King is a British Secret Agent stationed in India at the beginning of WWI. He is attached to the Khyber Rifles regiment as a cover, but his real job is to prevent a holy war. "To stop a holy war single-handed would be rather like stopping the wind--possibly easy enough, if one knew the way." King is ordered to work with a mysterious and powerful Eastern woman, Yasmini. Can King afford to trust her? Can he afford not to? Introduction by Brett W. Downey (9 hr 56 min)

interesting, but very complicated tall tale

Well read, but hard to follow because it’s so complicated a plot. Many place names and tribal names are familiar because of US Afghan War and involvement with Pakistan. US doing just as poorly in this region as British, Russians, Alexander the Great.
Great adventure story & reader!

If you like H.R.Haggard or any of the other authors of that genre you'll really enjoy T. Mundy. I just wish there were more offerings by this author available on LibriVox. The reader did a great job also., Thanks ñ
A great adventure story. It is read extremely well. This is a Kipling-like story, and I enjoyed my time with this book. I recommend it especially to those who love the lore and intrigue of the Himalayan foothills.

A truly engrossing adventure. Too bad that it is the only book by this author available. Haggard would approve of this tale, as would "She." I have not heard better voicing by any reader. Thanks.
