John Bunyan
Translated into over 100 languages, The Pilgrim's Progress is one of the most famous classics of literature. It is an allegorical novel, describing a Christian's journey through life to reach heaven. Part 1 was written by John Bunyan in 1679 whilst he was imprisoned for conducting unauthorised religious services, whilst Part 2 was not written until 1684, and is not included in many versions of this text. This recording includes both parts, and inline scripture references. (Summary by Joy Chan)
A French version of Part One is available: Le pélerinage d’un nommé Chrétien : écrit sous l’allégorie d’un songe (0 hr 28 min)

well read
Other than the Holy Bible, my favorite book of all time. This includes both parts. This lady does a wonderful job and has the perfect accent for Bunyan
I love how she read

Great story! The reader's English improved as she carefully presented the work. Thank you, Joy! May the reading of God's message in His Word be power in your life to God's glory.

It had been ages since I read this book, so I decided to give Joy's reading a try. She does an excellent job. I was reminded again of how much imagery from this book permeates our Western culture and English language. Note: This is one of Joy's earlier works for Librivox - so if you enjoy this one, check out her other works - she gets better and better.
Powerful!
