This is a very sweet love story and Roger Milen is a wonderful narrator. I always love his narrations he is one of the best at Librivox. I would highly recommend some of the other James Oliver Curwood books that he has narrated.

Great journey... life's funny that way! This author must have a deep and abiding love for this country. I will continue to read or listen to his books, and who knows, I may wonder that way myself some April or May! Well read!
Lovely story
One of my favorite readers. Voice is like smooth whiskey. Story of orphan abused by foster parents and redemption for her and the man she falls in love with. Canadian setting of wilderness.

Great story !!! Looking forward to his next one. Excellently read by Roger Melin. Good voice and glad there was only one reader. Different readers throw the story off.

Starts slow but builds into good story. Love Peter the dog. A harrowing love affair plus dual danger. Melin narrates perfectly.
