Gelesen von Stephen Escalera
John Owen
John Owen, in this Puritan classic, writes succinctly of the matters of the heart in dealing with sin in the life of the Christian. One of the best books ever written in my opinion. Has assisted me immensely with my understanding of the life and death battle with sin in my life and my children and my fellow church members. Truly we must win or we die!

Excellent book. Biblically sound. Convicting. Reader does an excellent job reading the more than 475 year old "Old English" text. (Book is only about 50 years younger than most of Wm. Shakespeare's work.) Please listen/read until the end for application.

Believers should take heed, some powerful truths which are as valid today as in Owen’s day,

The author goes to an amazing in depth explanation of how and what a serious Christian believer is to do to be aware and take charge over the nature of sin that as believers we are to fight against. Absolutely amazing

Read and recorded very professionally sounding. The wruting seems more schilarly and a bit hard but that's the education and understanding of men 400 years ago. It's very astute and helpful. A must for Christians.

Essential book for understanding that the true battle of our faith is in the depths of our souls, and not in mere behavior management. Wonderful reading here, with even good Greek pronunciations. Thank you!
