Commentary on St. Paul's Epistle to the Galatians
Gelesen von LibriVox Volunteers
Martin Luther
Martin Luther strove to give a verse by verse exegesis of the Epistle to the Galatians in the work. The original work, written in Latin in around 1516, was much longer. This translation by Theodore Graebner strove to produce a copy of the work in a format and with wording much more applicable to the general English-speaking American public. One reader for the entire commentary would have been better than multiple readers. I particularly enjoyed the chapters read by Bill Mosley.

John Bunyan sent me here

John Bunyan mentions Luther’s commentary on Galatians in the book “Grace Abounding To the Chief of Sinners” as the second most important or profitable book next to the Bible that he read, and that means a lot coming from a man who didn’t delve into many books apart from the Bible. We need this teaching at the forefront of our Christian walk always. How many of us go through that phase of our Christian life when we try to live holy in our own strength even after being born again. All our failures and headache’s stem from us going down that road. This book can help you get off that road and into the true life of peace and victory in Christ. If you want this same information put through the filter of John Bunyan’s mind read “The doctrine of law and grace unfolded” If you want a more modern take on our death to the law and alive in Christ to walk in the spirit read “The Normal Christian Life” by Watchman Nee.

I'm sitting here listening to Martin Luther. It's great and inspiring. It is just distracting when they have a female reader.
