This is the second ANNE book read by Ms. Savage I've had the pleasure of listening to. The stories, read so simply and so well, leave me cheerful and calm; indeed, more than once, I have caught myself smiling through entire chapters! Savage reads the book perfectly. A genuine pleasure to listen to as I go about my work. Highly recommended--anything read by Savage, really.
Perfect bedtime story

These books need no more reviews. Their heart and warmth have stood the test of time. I add that Karen Savage does such a wonderful job that this series is my go-to for getting to sleep. Karen does some fun voices, but not so dramatic that they rattle you, as others can do. And her tone for the Anne books fits perfectly with Montgomery's wistful words.

Wonderful story, beautifully narrated

If you're looking for an unpretentious, hopeful tale of good human character, this is it. I purposely seek out Karen Savages narration as it's the best I've found one this app. Thank you Karen. Lucy Maud Montgomery has given us a character who is beautiful inside and out. Giving and endeavoring to better herself and the world, and brightening the life of everyone she touches. it's a story of unremitting positivity. Yay for you LMM. I need more of this today and everyday. 😁😁😁
Lovely Story, Well Read
Allison Dyer
A gentle, interesting, living story read by an excellent reader. The author writes excellently the inner thoughts of characters, humorously and thoughtfully their interactions and lives, with splendid descriptions and insights of the beautiful natural world they are set in. The reader is clear-voiced with well-placed inflections that lend to good understanding of the audible text. Thank you LM Montgomery for your story, Karen Savage for your labor, and Librivox for organizing and providing the reading!
Simply delightful

This is a wonderfully fantastic story read by a talented young narrator. Perfect to get swept away by on a cold winter night. These stories give me serious anemoia! How delightful it would be to be a fly on the wall in the home of one of these fabulous characters. Suffice to say, I will happily settle for listening to this lovely story told by such a clear speaker with a smooth, not unpleasant accent.
Karen Savage is superb and this story gets better with age

I have listened to multiple works read by Karen Savage and I am always pleased with her tone and diction! I remember as a girl reading in Avonlea and juicing interest… But now grown-up, this is one of my all-time favorite works Murray. I love how we see Ann’s fanciful notions mixed with Dearing characters and real life in PEI.
