OTR Weekend File Upgrades Antidote to NPR Pledge Drive NPR's begging for bux again, so those who listen might enjoy this respite. Eight mostly half-hour shows I've edited for listenability. Background noise and/or volume lowered, speed adjustments, etc. Did what I could with the Benny -- it's a pretty messed-up file; long stretch of low speed after old ladies' gossiping, which I fixed, but then it speeds up for a few minutes later on when scout troop appears. The BOK ep was mislabeled as 1958; more likely its from '63. The HST ep is a tidy version of My Name is Julia Ross , starring Ann Todd and Herbert Marshall. Ella Fitzgerald scats divinely in the latter half of the Jubilee show.
