Daly Charles and George are two elderly inmates of one of Her Majesty's prisons. They have successfully organised a whole range of extramural activities and are therefore horrified when they learn they are to be released. Aided by their fellow prisoners they decide, while on an outing to the Tower of London, to steal the Crown Jewels. Things begin to go wrong when they become involved with a talking raven, the Mafia and a bent jeweller.
