Delightful!
Sandyjeans
A delightful and amusing tale of a cast of extraordinary characters. Rendered all the better by the tongue in cheek delivery of the reader. He was especially adroit at adopting the dialects of the various people of the town. I was sorry when it ended.
Simon Evers at His Best!

Oh, and the story was pretty good too. Sadly, this listener is near the end of the vast catalogue of Mr. Evers contributions to LibriVox. Few other readers match his mastery of delivery, pacing, and sheer talent. So forgive me if this review is something of a tribute to Simon Evers, I just don’t know where else to put one. Thank you. Secondly, Mr. Evers’ selection of material should put every listener in safe hands. If you are reading this review and wondering what to read, in Simon we trust. Cheers Then.
A must !!!
