The Widow Barnaby
Gelesen von Celine Major
Frances Milton Trollope
The vain, flirtatious and presumptuous husband hunting Mrs. Barnaby delves into high-class society of which she knows very little leading to some rather awkward and moments and ridiculous mistakes. Add the love and distresses of her lovely and demure niece Agnes, Mrs. Trollope's sharp wit, and you have the perfect recipe for a lighthearted Victorian romance. (Celine Major) (17 hr 44 min)

LIKE MOTHER. LIKE SON
AVID READER
This Trollope is even worse than her son at placing innumerable obstacles in the way of a happy ending.. Nevertheless, it is a good tale read expertly by Celine Major.
Long Story
Wendy Mathieu
I found this book to be very long and drawn out and almost gave up on it more than once. The reader is excellent, though!
One of my favorite narrators
Ms. Elizabeth
Story is too long for my taste. This caused too many chapters to draaag. Plot was interesting and ending satisfactory.

Superb reader, enjoyable but unnecessarily long story.
Speed Reader

Really wanted to listen to this book but the reader is much too fast for it to be enjoyable. Tried slowing it down but it was still to fast. Tried listening for a couple of chapters but just couldn't do it. I usually don't mind what other reviewers call a a too fast narration, but this one is just unlistenable for me.
