Not my favorite, but it definitely has its moments.

"The Dead Smile" had a disappointing climax, and the narrator for "The Screaming Skull," could've been more lively, but good stuff over all. I can see why "The Upper Birth" is a classic. I liked the narration, and even the dry tone of the "Skull" narrator ended up serving to make the climax a little more unnerving in its own way.

Good collection of stories all readers clear and understandable. Particularly amused by the reader who felt it necessary to put on the 'spooky voice..'
very poorly read. why bother? only one decent female narrator.

I enjoy the conversational way the story The Screaming Skull has been put down. and wow, that tale Man Overboard! is spooky, then it becomes heartbreaking. 💔 at least the final tale, The Doll's Ghost, is a sad story overall, but the end is a happy one.
