I liked this quite a bit. It's a ghost story, but not intended to be scary. It starts almost like a Noel Coward comedy, with a charming, witty young couple. It ends with melancholy, as the wife learns details of the ghost, and discovers our secrets and casual cruelty can be the scariest thing.

This story shows its age. Well written, as you would expect but I found it largely contrived and not scaryalthough there is an interesting twist at the end. Read beautifully

Not a terrifying story, but full of suspense and beautifully told. The LibriVox reader is one of the better ones.
