Ancient and medieval quest as sex comedy. Good reading.

Don't go by the brief description or previous reviews. Read the whole story of the book 0n Wikipedia. It explains the story and the forward. It's not a sex romp through history. It's the tale of a man given his youth again for one year to find true romantic love after bemoaning his relationship with his wife. A knowledge of the places he visits will add to the fun. Any aspects of sex are dealt with by double entendre. It is clever, funny and educational. I advise reading the forward which was written after the attempt to ban it. The reader is excellent and highlights the irony, satire and cynicism. I shall give it another listen.

this author KNOWS how it feels to be a middle aged man who remembers all the emotions and joys of youth.. Very very clever, can see how it influenced Terry pratchett
