Mark, I thought the prologue was a interesting intriguing start although the narration was not enjoyable. Chapter 1 annoyed me with its far fetched chain of events (save the mag train by a super heroic Rambo and amazon friend???) and its somewhat juvenile sexual innuendo. I could listen no further ...

This was great fun! From Joan the sweet spacecraft computer to the sinister Darkness and then the entrance of the Mermen. Do not venture to "Sparkling Death" unless you're ready for the fantastic outcomes of Mark Butler's extreme imagination.

A fast paced sci-fi detective mystery chasing between planets and involving huge planet-wide company cover ups and scandal. A plot with fast thinking heroes and ingenious twists makes this a riveting read for teens to “teens again”.

Thanks for the great rollercoaster ride Mark. Vance reminded me a lot of Han Solo - great characters. Looking forward to seeing them developed even further in your next book.

It has potential but its just bad...I even listened to the whole thing (stuck on a train w/ nothing else to do)...maybe I just didn't get it.

I am really glad you enjoyed it... and yes, they will be back with more action, more adventure (and less clothing) this summer.
