H. G. Wells
Thirteen short stories by HG Wells, the master of speculative fiction! Included in this collection is "Mr Skelmersdale in Fairyland" where a man finds his way into fairyland where a fairy queen tries to seduce him away from his human fiancée. In other stories a ghost gets stuck and can't get back to the "other side", a man decides to try being a god for a few months, a magic shop sells "the real thing", a scientist sells time in a bottle, a body is stolen (while its owner is still alive) and a man dreams or does he? (Summary by Beth Thomas) (7 hr 48 min)

Excellent collection of short stories

Really enjoyed the selection. Stories I've not heard before. Wells' talent was amazing. His use of language to create an image or atmosphere is unsurpassed. All the readers did a great job. For those who are obsessed with political correctness and looking to be offended, one story uses common words of the time
good collection

Good collection of short stories. The magic shop and the new accelerator were my favorites. Most were just okay but not really all that exciting. A few didn't make any sense and were boring and repetitive.
