The House on Chimney Pot Lane - CBS Radio Mystery Theater

(4,091 Sterne; 11 Bewertungen)

Another "weird tale" from the classic CBS radio series, and this time there's a "mural" to the story, heh. HD and flat screen's got nothing on the gimmick in this episode. Grab it! Air date: April 28, 1978

This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.

CBS Mystery at it's best

(4 Sterne)

The worst thing about hearing a really great episode is you never get to hear it again like the first time. If you haven't heard it yet, then stop reading and start listening! Worth every minute.

Spine chilling episode

I had never heard this episode of CBSRMT before. It has definitely vaulted to my "Top 10" favorites. The story is a real suspense builder. The acting and sound effects are excellent. And E.G. Marshall is in especially fine form here. While some would disagree, I believe CBS Radio Mystery Theater really hit its stride in the late 1970s after several years on the air. Audio quality is quite good. Great work!

The Haunted Mural...oooooooooo!!!!!

Do people really think this is scary? It's pretty silly, actually and you know where it's going almost immediately. For a scary take on a similar theme check out CBSRMT's The Yellow Wallpaper.

Good stuff

I've not heard any CBSRMT before, but after this episode, I'm going to check it out. Good acting, sound, story, quite creepy.
