Talent

(5 Sterne)

I have been a fan of the show for more than 20 years. I am 55, and as a broadcaster for 30 years, I envy not having been there to be part of how live radio worked. The TALENT of people like Jim Jordan and his wife Marion, along with the technical prowess WILL live forever. It is a piece of history that can make you believe and understand a specific time period, even if you weren't born yet. I can feel what it was like to live in that period. I bow to the TALENT that made that possible.

Timeless Comedy

(5 Sterne)

To many too young to have heard Jim and Marion, they are still hilarious. Funny is funny. Much of their comedy was interaction between characters, not political commentary or other time anchored subjects. I love Burns and Allen, but Jim and Marion were funnier.

Great Comedy

(5 Sterne)

Fibber and Molly had great comedic timing and loved the writing and the format of guests always dropping by the house. The longer I listened to the show, the more I loved the recurring characters.

loved it as a kid, love it now!
