Salvage in Space

This is an SF tale of excitement, danger, derring-do and strangely enough, love. A lonely and very poor asteroid miner, slowly collecting bits of metallic ore in the asteroid belt on his slowly accumulating 'planet' of debris, sees and captures a derelict space ship with a horrible monster aboard .. as well as a dead but lovely girl. How does it all end? Well you will need to listen to find out. One of Jack Williamson's early tales that earned him his reputation as a master story teller. (1 hr 4 min)

I don’t usually read sci fi but love to hear this reader. Using my lack of knowledge, the plot provides a good listen. Reader= 5. Plot=3 So my 4 with apology to sci fi fans for trying to rate a genre that I know little about

was an abrupt and surprised ending but it was okay and didn't use up a lot of time anyhow. and Phil has an excellent voice for narrating sci-fi stories, one of the top three narrator's ever listened to and suited most for sci-fi novels. thanks Phil.

This story is more a thriller than sci-fi. The reader, though excellent in other books, reads slowly as if stretching the story length. Unlike his other books, the reader is lacking luster. The story's asset is it's short.

entertaining tale and reading
