A Little Princess is a classic of children's literature by the author of The Secret Garden. Seven-year-old Sara Crewe comes to London to attend Miss Minchin's Select Seminary for Young Ladies, where she must live apart from her adored father. I am 58 years old. I bought a copy of this book, with the Tasha Tudor illustrations, when I was nine. I still read it several times a year. This is the first audio version I've heard, and it does this wonderful story justice. I also found many more of Burnett's books on Librivox, some written for adults, and she never disappoints. Do try A Little Princess. You won't regret it.
Outstanding!

I have listened to several of Ms Klett's readings, and, of them, I believe, this is the finest I have heard. Her characterization is impeccable, and her pace just right. The story made me smile, laugh, cry, and made me think of my own sweet little sister, now gone 23 years. Thank you very much, Ms. Klett! A standing ovation to you!!!
