A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is a timeless tale that explores the transformative power of compassion and redemption. Follow the journey of Ebenezer Scrooge, a bitter old miser who values wealth over human connection, as he is visited by three spirits on Christmas Eve.

Set in Victorian England, this story unfolds in a world where the spirit of Christmas is often overshadowed by greed and indifference. Through haunting encounters with the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come, Scrooge confronts the consequences of his actions and the possibility of change.

With its rich themes of generosity, forgiveness, and the importance of community, A Christmas Carol remains a poignant reminder of the joy that can be found in giving and the impact of kindness. This gentle reading, perfect for quiet evenings, invites listeners to reflect on their own lives and the spirit of the season.

Brilliant!

Wonderful version of this familiar work. The whisper technique is an entirely novel listening experience. Also, it's great for insomnia (that's a compliment). Try Cori's wonderful Wind in the Willows, too: https://archive.org/details/wind_willows_1306_librivox TheBookworm (Manchester, UK)

Excellently narrated. Whispering has a very calming and soporific effect on many people #ASMR and so is ideal for bedtime listening.
