Before Adam
Jack London
Read by Tom Weiss
Before Adam is a mixture of sound science and sci-fi speculation. It is based around Darwin's theory of evolution and the idea of racial memory. The main character lives in the current world but has dreams and nightmares that he relives the pre-stone age life of one of his proto-human ancestors. Those who are scientifically inclined may enjoy this novel more than fans of "standard" science fiction such as Edgar Rice Burroughs. (Summary by Tom Weiss) (3 hr 49 min)

Reviews
interesting concept
adam
This was an interesting read in the way it mingles dreams, prior existence and evolution. It is reminiscent of a similiar Hg wells book. This wasn't my favorite jack London book but it was very good. He's such a master. It was fun to traverse a different region with him. I recommend it!

l liked the dream concept but found the plot weak. It develops merely into a story of early man and his discoveries such as I learned in Junior school. More suitable for young readers. Found no problem with noise in recording. The reader is excellent.

Story was fun in a silly way. Elocution was okay. Sound quality was distracting.
Sorry but just listing to this it's from the mystery religion...
