Science fiction is a genre encompassing imaginative works that take place in this world or that of the author’s creation where anything is possible. The only rules are those set forth by the author. The speculative nature of the genre inspires thought, and plants seeds that have led to advances in science. The genre can spark an interest in the science and is cited as the impetus for the career choice of many scientists. It is a playing field to explore social perspectives, predictions of the future, and engage in adventures unbound into the richness of the human mind. - Summary by Amy Gramour (11 hr 40 min)

When you get this much time off multi readers all together at once there is bound to be at least a few bad readers or something you're just not gonna like. NOPE, not this time. All well read, good entertaining stories. I actually listened to the whole thing both in my waking hours as well as my failing asleep tool. :)

Some of these probably fit more as speculative horror than sci-fi- a good mix. Some repeats but great listening. Some great readers, and some new favourites such as Bill Yallalee
