Eudemian Ethics
Aristotle
Read by Geoffrey Edwards
Eudemian Ethics is a profound exploration of moral philosophy by Aristotle, delving into the nature of virtue, the essence of friendship, and the pursuit of happiness. This work, believed to predate his more famous Nicomachean Ethics, offers insights into the ethical considerations that shape human life and relationships.
Named after Eudemus of Rhodes, this text presents a systematic approach to understanding ethical behavior and the role of divine influence in human affairs. Aristotle's examination of these themes is both rigorous and reflective, inviting readers to contemplate the principles that govern a good life.
While some sections of the Eudemian Ethics overlap with the Nicomachean Ethics, this work stands out for its unique perspective on moral philosophy, making it a significant contribution to the study of ethics in the ancient world. Engage with Aristotle's thoughts and discover the foundational ideas that continue to resonate in contemporary discussions of morality.

Love Geoffrey Edwards reading he became the voice of antiquities to me
Nadia
Impossible to listen to. The narrator’s voice has no color, no modulation, and has a whiny high boring pitch. Hopefully there would be other volunteers that read better. The content seems dry, so an actor’s voice is needed to sustain interest for the listener. I couldn’t endure it more than five minutes.
