Precious story, introducing the Lord Jesus to children as the Good Shepherd. Also brings to life the “life behind the scenes” of traveling actors of the era. Very loveble characters. I wish Toby had not died. (That’s my only complaint of the author). The reader was wonderful.
Lovely Story! Well read!

I listened to this book dozens of times, but, even then there is something about this book that makes you feel like it’s your first time hearing it. Very touching and 100 recommended. Thank you for reading Abigail Rasmussen!

Sweet story and well narrated!
Sweet story

I'm a sucker for stories about sweet little orphans. In this one, the author has quite a prejudice against fairs, theatres and circuses, however she still makes a good point. Behind glitz, glamour and fame there is often a reality that is far more painful and difficult than we could imagine. Things aren't always as they appear to be. Many thanks to the narrator for her excellent reading.
A Good Story.

A Peep Behind the Scenes is bittersweet story. It points out what can be the truth behind smiling faces, splendid costumes, and enviable lives. Abigail Rasmussen did a wonderful job at narrating, and this is a story I love listening to again and again.

A very sweet and touching story. Highly recommended! The content of the story is appropriate even for children, and there are good moral lessons conveyed through it. The reader is excellent, with good annunciation, tone, clarity, and expressiveness.

This is a very well written view of the life a the young girl Rosali and how the Good Shepherd leads. A good clean read for any age.
