The reader did well. She has a heavier British accent so I had to make sure that my surroundings were quiet so I could focus easier. Not a big deal at all. I like that it seemed like the story was going to end a certain way but didn't. So, there's a twist in a way & the true ending is one we'd all prefer. I wasn't able to figure out what was going on or going to happen. I really enjoyed this short story.
2 Hours Well Spent

A wonderful short story, and I found Ashleigh's voice very pleasant to listen to. As someone else mentioned, she does trip occasionally, but I wasn't bothered by it. Her reading of it is very smooth otherwise. And the story is beautifully written with an interesting ending. Thoroughly enjoyed this!

On the whole well read. a few comments which might improve your reading. please take as constructive. some words were mispronounced - e.g. ardour, nonchalant, recompense. there were also a few misplaced pauses and some words tripped over. might be more fluent if read a little slower. but thanks for an entertaining read.
Suspenseful Tale

This short mystery is quite different from Alcott's other writings, but certainly just as enjoyable in another way. I was guessing right up until the end, and then I re-listened to gain the meaning of clues along the way. Thank you to the reader for a job well done.
I liked this story a lot!

Lillian Trevlyn was a baby when her father died under mysterious circumstances. Her mother received a severe shock that same day that almost killed her as well. Years have passed, and tho Lillian has now grown to a lovely young lady, the past mysteries have never been solved. An orphaned boy named Paul joins the household as a groomsman. The family takes good care of him, but he is very evasive about his life and intentions. Then, he suddenly disappears. What could be behind the strange activities in the Trevlyn household? This is a great short story, well-written and well-read. I loved it, and listened to it a couple of times. The finale is a bit predictable, but so sweet, I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Ashleigh does a great job reading this mysterious tale by Louisa May Alcott. At the end, I felt as if I had been in the barn watching the "Little Women" perform one of their infamous plays! :)

Kept me guessing all the time, the reader is great she does have a heavy accent so its better to listen without distractions but she is great.
