Framed for a murder he did not commit, John North must rely on his friends to help clear him of the charge. But, are they really his friends? Many have dirty little secrets they wish to keep private, even at the expense of John North’s life. Ironically, those keeping quiet include members of the legal profession. Only one drunken man knows the true identity of the killer but he has mysteriously disappeared. Deceit and betrayal flourish in this story, with a tense conclusion. The Just and the Unjust I could not stop listening until the very end. I hope to find more audiobooks by this author, Vaughan Kester. Not to mention Tom Weiss' superb reading.

Really good plot

Beautifully read by Tom....as usual, thanks for the time you took to record this. Plot Good, wish I knew what happened to the other characters, finished a bit quick.

one of my favorite readers

There's some good sub-stories. I did get confused with the character names and who was related. The last chapter had me on the edge of my seat.

Loved it--except the ending was so abrupt. But while I rarely get teary-eyed with an audiobook, I did with this one a couple times.

bravo!
