LibriVox 5th Anniversary Collection Vol. 1

Read by LibriVox Volunteers

(4 stars; 1 reviews)

What do you do for a fifth anniversary? We decided to have a collection of short works with a difference. We challenged our readers to find any short works which had 'five' in the title - in any language. They have done us proud, and the collection extends to three volumes of short stories, poems, fairy tales, memoirs, non-fiction and bible readings, in six languages. This is the first volume. Reviews

A good mix of pieces

(4 stars)

A nice mix of genres and subjects. All of the pieces were well read, and I found all of them at least mildly entertaining. Special mention goes to Mother of Five, The Life of Five Points and The Old, Old Story of How Five Men Went Fishing as being stories I particularly enjoyed. However this is purely a matter of personal taste and I am sure there is something here for everyone.
