Wild West adventure at its best

This was a very enjoyable story. I like stories about all those pioneering women who fought so hard to be accepted in unconventional roles. There were some parts of the story that were sad (I hate it when bad things happen to animals) and there were parts that were pure triumph, vengeance and redemption. The narration from Dawn Larsen, Linda Sizemore and the fabulous Richard Kilmer were very good. Richard Kilmer has such a fantastic voice and it is perfect for western stories. One of the narrators was rather tinny and bland but it is tolerable enough not to detract from the overall story. An enjoyable listen, highly recommended.
Good story . . .

This story captured my interest and I found myself looking forward to listening to the next installment as time permitted. One drawback - the writer gets a bit long in her descriptions such that you want to say, 'okay, get to the point.' Dawn and Linda(?) were excellent readers; it would've been nice if they'd read more. Richard Kilmer does a good job, however "sinew" is pronounced 'SIN-yoo' (instead of 'sigh-noo') and "impudent" is pronounced 'IM-pudent instead of 'im-PU-dent'.
Strong Story of a Strong Girl
Elf Brown
The author has created a character that you quickly become invested in. The investment pays off, in spades. Very enjoyable readers. Sure, not every word is pronounced correctly, but the quality, of their reading, allows them some latitude, and the small mistakes are easily overlooked and/or forgiven. Thank you, for the engrossing story.
