Neat story

If you have ever watched the 'Conan the Barbarian' movies, you will recognize these characters. Conan and Valeria find themselves pulled into a clan war and help their new friends to win it, only to have those same friends turn on them, kidnapping Valeria and trying to kill Conan. Why would they do this? What is the secret of the clans? This is a very action-filled story with some racy scenes so be warned; I wouldn't play this one for the kids. Excellent reading and recording quality. Enjoy!
Robert E. Howards' other works

It is a very good story. But Robert E. Howard wrote such a variety of stories, it makes me want to hear tales who are less known. I read nearly all of his stories. They are free on the web Like Here http://arthursclassicnovels.com/howard.html Or Like Here: http://gutenberg.net.au/plusfifty-a-m.html#letterH (scroll down till you come by REH) If only anyone would read them out loud!!! A great reading by Gregg Margerite. Well Done. Roland from Holland

I had fun listening to this Grand Tale of Conan & Valeria, his woman, her man; the truly fascinating details, ranging from very very small to miniscule, that are cleverly inserted by the genius of Robert E. Howard in-betwixt and in-between the clatter that serves as normal conversation and observation these days; ha!
sounds odd

The reading seems ok, but the cadence is really odd. Is it actually read by a person? It sounds a little like the family guy take on Willaim Shatner's delivery! Is this a technical issue at my end or the way the guy sounds?
One of Howard's best Conan's stories

One of the best Conan stories. A very good reading although the reader seemed a bit wooden early on. He quickly feel into a good pace and feel. Highly recommended.

One of Howard's truly great stories. A person can almost taste the shadows. Wonderful.
