The Royal Book of Oz (version 2 Dramatic Reading)
Ruth Plumly Thompson
Read by LibriVox Volunteers
When the professor decides to outline the ancestry of the eminent people of Oz, Scarecrow feels left out. He doesn't have a family tree - unless you count the bean pole on which he had been placed when the farmer put him in the cornfield! So he decides to seek out his roots . . . which leads him, Dorothy, and the Cowardly Lion on adventures they never dreamed, meeting new friends (and foes) along the way. (Introduction by TriciaG)

awesome listen

great book loved the voice actors. wasn't sure at first but loved it by the end.
Great Book but Some Complains

I love this book but the picture is silly it looks like Dirthey is a damsel in It really reminds me of L.Frank. Baums books. It’s a great listen too and the voices make it more real but they can be a bit annoying. The ads also happen at every chapter which is ugh but it’s free so I get it. I really like the story but when it’s the Scarecrow parts it drags on when he is emperor. I like the concept of the Scarecrow having a background and Ruth is a good writer. I have mixed feelings but I liked the story!

I think it’s a good book but the part where the scarecrow was on the silver island didn’t seem like oz. But the adventure of dorthy and the cowardly lion sounds like an oz adventure.
