Rainbow Valley, the seventh book in the Anne of Green Gables series explores the world of Anne & Gilbert’s six children along with the exploits of the Merediths, the children of the town’s new minister. With no mother and an absent-minded father, the Meredith children are not being properly brought up. The narrator is terrible but the story is wonderful! I wish Karen Savage had narrated this one. She is fantastic.

Though I don't like it as much as the previous books Rainbow Valley is still a fun book. I guess I didn't find the parts that were supposed to be humorous as funny as I did in the other books and events seemed more random. I thought Robin Cotter did quite a good job. Of course it's difficult to top Karen Savage so if you listened to her all the previous books it isn't the same. However, after a few chapters I got used to the change and thought she did a good job, plus I for one really appreciate having just one reader for a book.

Much Enjoyed

I've read Rainbow Valley numerous times, but I really enjoyed listening to this narrator's presentation. I've noticed that some other reviewers didn't like her reading. But I appreciated her steady, smooth and slower narration. Many thanks!

Great story

This is a must read!!!!!!!!! I can't tell you how much I love the Anne of green gables series!! One thing is you HAVE to start at the beginning, Anne of green gables then so on to the next book.❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚

I am a fan of L.M. Montgomery; and this book, though different from the previous Anne Books, still was worth the read. The narrator, Robin Cotter, did an excellent job of vocally maintaining the personalities of such a large cast of characters. Her diction was flawless, though there were some mispronounced words. Ms. Cotter must be kind and very feminine, for her most expressive moments were manifest when interpreting female characters with such attributes listed above.

Beautiful story. I enjoyed the change in style of the narrator, as her style allows more room for personal interpretation and imagination. When all is said & done, variety is the spice of life. Perhaps I'm just a slightly different member of the clan of Joseph.

Amazing stuff!!!!
