Beautifully read by one of the best reader's librivox has. Interesting story. Worth listening to if you enjoy a mystery.

Dod not feel unfinished.

The book was well written and a wonderful plot. I got a little lost in the chapter explaining the second wall. Could be cuz I was napping on and off through it. 😊 I was a little leery of the ending as other readers were saying it felt unfinished. I almost decided not to finish it and then thought, well, why not? And the end was surprisingly well. I can see why someone might say that especially if they don’t have as big an imagination as me. And I might not sync loved the ending but it wasn’t as bad as they made it sound. Give it a try! I love A. K. G. She writes well. Thanks also to Dawn. Great job.

WHAT A TWISTER.

IN MY OPINION ANNA KATHARINE GREEN IS A MAGNIFICENT WRITER, I BELIEVE THOSE WHO CRITICISE HER SHOULD TRY TO DO BETTER, I AM ALWAYS IN AWE. HER TALENTS ARE ABOVE REPROACH. TO EVEN THINK OF THE PLOT, THE CHARACTERS AND THE UNUSUAL ENDINGS ARE PENOMENAL. I AM A BRIGHT PERSON BUT WOULD NOT EVEN BEGIN TO WRITE EVEN A SMALL NOVEL. CONGRATULATIONS ALSO TO THE READER, A TRULY WONDERFUL JOB. ONE CAN REALLY BELIEVE DIFFERENT CHARACTERS ARE SPEAKING.

Okay book

The six year old Gwendolyn is missing from her home, and a large reward is put forth to recover the child. When a clue is finally found, the mother of the child purposely destroys the evidence. Why would she do that? What secret does she harbor? The reader was excellent, no complaints. The story itself I found a bit disappointing. Not the typical AKG storyline. Feel free to disagree tho! :-)

Not my favorite AKG book, but very good reader

I agree with the previous reviewer that The Millionaire Baby does not seem to be the usual AKG offering. It seemed more of a social commentary or moralistic tale then a mystery story. It's weaker than many of her other books, and I felt it ended abruptly. The reader, however, did an excellent job, which pushes my rating up to 4 stars.

a bit long winded

I did persevere with this book until the end just to see if the ending would be a revelation or not? Sadly I found it quite unbelievable and felt rather robbed after spending so many hours listening. it's not all bad though! some chapters are entertaining. I found the reader good after initialialy finding it hard to fully understand her accent.

Great story but I was so pleased with the ending.

The story was full of twists and turns and kept me going. Great reader, too. I was not pleased with the ending. I do however recommend reading the book!

NEEDS ONE MORE CHAPTER

(4.5 stars)

Entertaining, but perhaps with too many coincidences. DL always reads beautiflly, but she has one error in common with numerous readers: prophesy is pronounced differently than is prophecy.
