Vegetarianism and Occultism explores the intriguing relationship between dietary choices and spiritual practices. C. W. Leadbeater delves into the reasons why occultism advocates for a vegetarian lifestyle, presenting a compelling case for its benefits.

In this thought-provoking work, Leadbeater categorizes the reasons for vegetarianism into two distinct realms: the physical, which encompasses health and well-being, and the occult, which reveals deeper spiritual insights. Through careful examination, he argues that a vegetarian diet is not only beneficial for the body but also essential for spiritual growth and purity.

Written in 1913, this book invites readers to consider the broader implications of their dietary choices, encouraging a reflection on how what we eat can influence our spiritual journey. Leadbeater's insights offer a unique perspective that intertwines philosophy, science, and spirituality, making it a distinctive addition to the discourse on vegetarianism.

A wonder of wonders

(5 stars)

This book will show even the most uniformed human being the common sense against a flesh diet. the reader has a beautiful musical voice. She reads clearly and is easy to comprehend. I would advise the whole planet to heed the wisdom in this book if we wish to save ourselves the pain of ignorance tarnished with disregard.

straight forward

(4 stars)

the writings were not diving deep into the subject. it was more of a general understand of the impacts of eating no flesh food on he body and soul. it might serve those who just started there journey. #AsAboveSoBelow.

heartfelt and compassionate

Some valuable considerations. I would venture that much of what is said here about unclean unwholesome food could also be applied to heavily processed fats, sugars, and additives of the modern diet.

(3 stars)

the title was a bit misleading. not much information about the occult side of vegetarianism

Interesting

(4 stars)

it had a lot of information but i felt the writer was very judgmental

Recommend it to any truth seeker

Fascinating book, and the orator was great. It has not occurred to me that the vegetarian movement as it is today had roots in 1913. It is comforting to know and be reminded that there were compassionate people throughout world history, especially American history.

Short, crisp and awesome

(4.5 stars)

The book is a short summary but touches on all aspects of the matter. ai would've liked it more if he had explained the offult side of it more because I was looking for it. But, the book is awesome as such. No doubt about that.

Inspiring book
