Very Good!

I really enjoy Ralph's voice telling the story. It makes it feel like a Grandpa telling a story. My Grandpa used to tell fantastic tales and this totally fits.

Great story. Surprises me how in touch the author displays emotions. Seems back in the day men lived in caves they were more attuned.. Now that men are out of the caves the emotional discourse was sealed in. Ha.

This book was very boring and hard to understand. I did not like the other and found him difficult to understand. The story was very slow and after the first chapter I had no idea what was going on or what the story was about. Would not recommend this book to anyone.

You could read book one and stop there with just an "oh, interesting story". But this second book captivates you like the characters have been. Make plans to read book 3! Mr. Snelson is an excellent reader and reads all 3 books.

Story is almost too fantastical to be credible, but nevertheless a great story, you just heed to suspend logic to really enjoy it. The narrator has a lovely voice.

Well read. Interesting as a document of bygone thinking, and entertaining enough, but the sexism and racism was hard to listen to nonetheless.
