Childhood's Favorites and Fairy Stories

Read by LibriVox Volunteers
Since this series of books is intended for all young people from one
to one hundred, it opens with about eighty of the old MOTHER GOOSE
RHYMES. Nothing better was ever invented to tell to little folks who
are young enough for lullabies. Their rhythm, their humor, and thei
pith will always cause us to prize them as the Babies' Classics. Editors: Hamilton Wright Mabie, Edward Everett Hale, William Byron Forbush.(Gutenberg Text) (19 hr 56 min)

Reviews
Great, but not practical to listen to with the heading interruptions
cmhs
I love all these old tales for my children, unfortunately, it's not practical to listen to with it stopping so often to go through the librivox headings. I wish they had a version that read through without all the interruptions. It's not as much of a distraction when chapters are longer, but in this and "Poems Every Child Should Know", it's constant.
Childhood stories
Rred2
Were read to me and my siblings by our Mothers and of course bring back so many nice memories. Unfortunately some of your readers read in a monotone and need to work on modulation.
