Now this is a properly grimy, lurid detective story! I'd say more but everything else I can think of is a spoiler in some way.

Couldn't be better. I've paid for other Dashiell Hammett stories on Audible but this narrator is better, handles the material perfectly. I highly recommend his other Hammett readings here on LibriVox.
